In recent decades, domestic and foreign research and development of slurry pump flow parts wear-resistant materials.Many types, slurry pump commonly used wear-resistant materials;
There are three main types: high chromium cast iron and nickel hard cast iron, rubber and ceramic materials, and composite materials.
1,High chromium cast iron and nickel hard cast iron
High chromium cast iron is known"The third generation of metal anti-wear material", has excellent anti-wear performance, more used in slurry containing coarse and sharp ore processing and ore processing industry, the hardness of the general alloy determines the resistance of the flow piece to the particles, the use of materials with high shear hardness and compressive strength will improve the wear resistance of the pump parts.
At present, the application of slurry pump at home and abroadThe metal wear-resistant material of the impeller material is mainly white cast iron, including ordinary white cast iron, nickel hard white cast iron and ordinary high chromium white cast iron.
However, because the carbide of ordinary white cast iron is mainly cementite, and the matrix structure is mainly pearlite, the hardness and impact toughness are low, and the wear resistance is poor;
At the same time, the electrode potential difference between the phases is large, and the electrochemical corrosion is more serious, so the application is less. The material mainly used in the slurry pump flow parts in China is still ordinary high chromium white cast iron, but it also has its own defects.
Although ordinary high chromium white cast iron has high wear resistance, its toughness is poor. When it is subjected to high-speed erosion of large solid particles, it is easy to cause the impeller surface and the material to fall off, and it is easy to form pits due to corrosion on the broken surface.
In addition, due to the scarcity of nickel resources in China and the high price of nickel, nickel hard cast iron is not widely used in China.
2,Rubber and ceramic materials
Rubber can be suitable for conveying maximum particles less10mm(average particle size3mm) of slurry pump.Its abrasion resistance is better than that of metal materials, so glue pumps are mostly used to transport fine particle slurries without edges and corners.
Although ceramic materials have high hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, they are still difficult to apply in slurry pumps because of their brittleness..However, the method of surface coating is adopted to form a ceramic coating on the metal surface, which not only exerts the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ceramic materials, but also improves the service life of metal materials;
However, there are still many problems to be solved in the practical application of slurry pump.
3,Composite Materials
It is reported in the literature that the comprehensive performance is better.WCCeramic particles as particle reinforcement phase and composites based on high carbon low alloy white cast iron have higher hardness and better erosion resistance.
There are alsoZG45for the matrix, with secondary carbides(Cr ,Fe)7C3and cementite type carbidesFe3W3In order to enhance the phase, the iron-based surface wear-resistant material for slurry pump was prepared by casting infiltration process.
However, the above research is only in the laboratory stage and has not been applied to actual production.
