SS(R) series single-stage centrifugal pump

SS pump is a single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump, using international standard IS02858 design, is B, BA type pump replacement products. Simple structure, small size, light weight, good cavitation resistance, low power consumption, and convenient use and maintenance.     Single Stage Centrifugal Pump Introduction

    SS pump is a single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump, which is the replacement of B and BA pumps. Suitable for industrial and urban water supply, drainage, can also be used for agricultural irrigation and drainage. For the delivery of clean water, physical and chemical properties similar to other liquids used for water, the temperature does not exceed 80 ℃.

    SSR type is a series of hot water pumps designed by our company according to the performance and size specified in international standard IS02858. It is suitable for hot water boiler feed water, hot water circulation system, industrial and urban water supply, drainage and irrigation, but the temperature does not exceed 150 ℃.

    It is mainly composed of pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, sealing ring, shaft sleeve and suspension bearing parts. The pump body and the pump cover part are divided from the back of the impeller, which is commonly referred to as the rear door opening structure. Its advantage is that it is convenient to repair, and the pump body and suction pipeline can be repaired without moving during maintenance.

    Single Stage Centrifugal Pump Features

    Single-stage centrifugal pumps have the characteristics of simple structure, small size, light weight, easy maintenance, high efficiency, and wide application range. It is suitable for transporting clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water, and is widely used in agricultural irrigation, industrial water supply, urban water supply, drainage systems, fire protection systems, ships, chemical industry and other fields.
    The design principle of a single-stage centrifugal pump is based on centrifugal force. When the pump body rotates, the liquid in the impeller is thrown toward the outlet of the pump casing, forming a high-pressure area, while the center of the impeller forms a low-pressure area. This pressure difference causes the liquid to be continuously sucked in from the inlet, accelerated through the impeller and then discharged, thereby achieving continuous liquid delivery.


    In addition to the above basic features, single-stage centrifugal pumps also have the following significant features:
    High efficiency: Due to the design optimization of centrifugal pumps and the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, modern single-stage centrifugal pumps can achieve higher efficiency during operation, effectively reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
    Good stability: During the operation of the single-stage centrifugal pump, the change range of flow rate and head is relatively small, and the operation is stable, reducing the adverse effects caused by vibration and noise.
    Flexible adjustment: By adjusting the pump speed or changing the gap between the impeller and the pump casing, the flow and lift of the single-stage centrifugal pump can be easily adjusted to adapt to different working conditions.
    Easy to maintain: The structure of the single-stage centrifugal pump is relatively simple, with fewer parts and easy to disassemble and replace, reducing the complexity and cost of maintenance work.

    Selection of pump

    When selecting the specifications of the pump, the user should pay attention to the following points:

    • The flow rate of the selected water pump should be less than the normal water yield of the well or other water source, and the dry season should be properly considered.
    • The head of the pump should be selected according to the actual needs of the head, and consider the pipeline loss of the pump.
    • When selecting the pump, the temperature of the conveying liquid should be considered, which should be less than the specified temperature.
    • When selecting the water pump, the installation height of the water pump should be considered, that is, the vertical distance from the suction surface to the axis of the water pump should be less than the height specified by the water pump:

    Product Structure

     

    • SS type pump is designed according to the performance and size specified in international standard ISO2858. It is mainly composed of pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, sealing ring, shaft sleeve and suspension bearing parts.
    • The pump body and pump cover part of the SS pump are split from the back of the impeller, which is commonly referred to as the rear door structure. Its advantage is that it is convenient to repair, and the pump body and suction pipeline can be repaired without moving during maintenance.
    • The housing of the pump (I. e. the pump body and the pump cover) constitutes the working chamber of the pump. The impeller, shaft and rolling bearing are the rotor of the pump. The suspension bearing component supports the rotor component of the pump, and the rolling bearing receives the radial and axial forces of the pump.
    • In order to balance the axial force of the pump, most pumps are equipped with sealing rings before and after the impeller, and a balance hole is provided on the back cover of the impeller. Because the axial force of some pumps is not large, the back of the impeller does not have a sealing ring and a balance hole.
    • The axial seal of the pump is composed of packing gland, packing ring and packing to prevent air intake or a large amount of water leakage. If the impeller of the pump has a balance hole, the cavity of the soft packing is connected with the suction port of the impeller. If the liquid at the inlet of the impeller is in a vacuum state, it is easy to enter the air along the surface of the shaft sleeve. Therefore, a packing ring is installed in the packing cavity, and the pressure in the pump chamber is introduced to the packing ring for sealing through the small hole on the pump cover. If the impeller of the pump does not have a balance hole, the liquid pressure on the back of the impeller is greater than atmospheric pressure, so there is no air leakage problem, so the packing ring may not be installed.
    • The axial seal of the pump is composed of a machine-sealed shaft sleeve, a machine-sealed gland and a mechanical seal, which can achieve a more reliable seal. Packing seal and mechanical seal two forms, can be selected according to user needs. It should be noted that because the special material of the mechanical seal has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, users are now mostly used as hot water pumps, which are simple, convenient and practical compared with hot water circulating pumps.
    • SSR type hot water circulating pump is based on the gifted type in order to adapt to the design of high temperature liquid transport water cooling device. It is composed of a pump cover, a water-cooled chamber ring cover and a water-cooled hose joint. The pump cover and the water-cooled chamber ring cover form a water-cooled chamber, and the two O-rings on the water-cooled chamber ring cover play a sealing role. In order to realize water cooling, cooling circulating water can be injected into the water cooling chamber through the lower one of the two water cooling hose joints to cool the filling chamber, pump shaft and packing, and the other water cooling hose joint is used to recover the cooling water. If the cooling effect is not ideal, a cold water can be introduced into the filling chamber (see Figure 1 through the filling chamber joint). In order to prevent the filling chamber from entering the air, the company's products will block this hole with G ¼ wire plug when leaving the factory, and users can change into G ¼ cold water joint when needed. The water cooling pressure P≈ 0.15- 0.3MPa, the water seal requirement for the filling chamber is 0.2-0.3 m3/n, and the cooling circulating water volume is 0.3-0.1 m3/n. The above water consumption is for reference only, and the user can adjust it according to the actual situation.     • In order to avoid shaft wear, the shaft through the packing cavity is equipped with shaft sleeve protection. O-ring is installed between the shaft sleeve and the shaft to prevent air intake or water leakage along the mating surface.
    • The transmission mode of the pump is connected with the motor through the elastic coupling. The direction of rotation of the pump, viewed from the drive end, is clockwise.
    • The dimensions of the pump are shown in Figure 1 and Table 2, and the flange dimensions of the suction and discharge ports of the pump are shown in Figure 3 and Table 4. If the reducer pipe is used, that is, when the suction pipe diameter is the same as the discharge pipe diameter, the connection size of the discharge port flange is the same as that of the suction port flange.
