SSP(R) Semi-submersible Pump / Vertical Slurry pump

The vertical slurry pump is a vertical single-stage single-suction cantilever centrifugal pump structure, the impeller is a semi-open impeller, and a mixing blade is arranged at the extension of the suction side of the impeller. It is mainly used in environmental protection, municipal engineering, thermal power plants, gas coking plants, oil refineries, steel mills, mining, paper industry, cement plants, food plants, printing and dyeing industries to pump concentrated liquid, heavy oil, oil residue, dirty liquid, mud, mortar, flow sand and flowing sludge in urban sewage channels, as well as fluids containing sludge and corrosive liquids.

    Product Model

The SSP(R) semi-submersible pump is a vertical centrifugal slurry pump, immersed in liquid, used to transport abrasive, coarse-grained, high-concentration slurry. Without any shaft seal or shaft seal water, it can operate under insufficient suction conditions.
The SSP pump is made of wear-resistant metal. The submerged parts of the SSPR pump have rubber lining, which is suitable for angularly conveying abrasive slag slurry.
The model with the letter "L" is a submersible pump with an extended shaft, suitable for deeper liquid conditions. The pump in the standard pump based on the increase of the guide bearing structure. This makes the operation smoother and more suitable for a wide range of applications. However, the guide bearing area requires flushing water.

Key Features of Semi Submersible Pumps for Handling High-Concentration Slurries

Durable and Efficient Design: The semi submersible pump is designed for handling corrosive, coarse-particle, and high-concentration slurries, making it suitable for applications in slurry pools or pits. It operates while immersed in liquid, ensuring efficient performance in challenging environments.

Applications in Various Industries: Semi submersible pumps are widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal, power generation, building materials, and environmental protection. Their ability to handle corrosive and high-concentration slurries makes them ideal for these sectors.

Wear-Resistant Flow Parts: The pump’s flow-through parts are made of wear-resistant materials such as metal, rubber, or polyurethane, which enhances its durability when conveying coarse particles and corrosive slurries.

Flexible Shaft and Bearing Design: The bearings of the semi submersible pump are grease-lubricated, and the length of the pump drive shaft or suction pipe can be adjusted to fit different slurry pool depths. The pump can also operate without shaft seals or seal water, even when suction is insufficient.

Variety of Transmission Methods: Semi submersible pumps can be driven by V-belt transmission or elastic coupling transmission, allowing them to adapt to various working conditions and ensure stable operation.

Optimized for Efficiency: By adjusting speed variations, the semi submersible pump can operate under optimal conditions, which improves its service life and efficiency while handling complex slurry transfer tasks.

This design enhances the reliability, versatility, and performance of semi submersible pumps across diverse industrial applications.
