Slurry pump machine seal assembly should pay attention to the following three problems:
① The spring compression is moderate.
Excessive compression of the spring can cause rapid wear of the friction pair and instantaneous burning; excessive compression causes the spring to lose its ability to adjust the end of the moving ring, resulting in seal failure; excessive compression of the spring can easily lead to fatigue damage and deform the moving ring sealing ring. Affect the sealing effect.
② The dynamic ring sealing ring is properly tightened.
If the moving ring sealing ring is too tight, it will aggravate the wear between the sealing ring and the shaft sleeve, leak prematurely, and increase the resistance of the moving ring to axial adjustment and movement, and cannot be adjusted in time when the working conditions change frequently.
③ To avoid the static ring sealing ring with too tight.
The static ring sealing ring is basically in a static ratio state, and the relatively tight sealing effect will be better, but too tight is also harmful, which is easy to cause excessive deformation of the static ring seal and affect the sealing effect. When the static ring is made of silicon carbide, it is generally brittle, and excessive force can easily cause fragmentation. Too tight static ring will cause difficulty in installation and disassembly, and easily damage the static ring.
