The main physical properties of slurry pump conveying slurry are particularly important for slurry pump selection and slurry pump design conveying scheme. Different working conditions will change the physical properties of slurry to be considered when selecting slurry.

1. Slurry density

3. Slurry concentration

There are several ways to express the concentration of the slurry. One is the ratio of the volume of solids flowing through per unit time to the volume of the slurry is called volume concentration, which is generally taken as a percentage;

The other is the ratio of the weight of solids flowing through per unit time to the weight of the slurry, called the weight concentration.

4. Relationship between concentration and specific gravity

5. Viscosity of slurry
