How to adjust the impeller clearance after replacing the slurry pump impeller

The impeller clearance needs to be adjusted after the slurry pump impeller is replaced. How to adjust the impeller clearance after the slurry pump impeller is replaced?

1. If it is a mechanical seal structure, reset the positioning card first, and then loosen the shaft sleeve locking screw;

2. Loosen the four compression bolts of the bearing assembly;

3. Loosen the adjusting bolt of the bearing assembly on the bracket;

4. First, rotate a nut until the impeller is stuck with the guard plate and cannot rotate (according to the rotation direction of the pump when rotating the pump);

5. Then slowly adjust the other nut until the impeller can rotate normally (according to the rotation direction of the pump when rotating the pump), and there is no friction with the front and rear guards;

6. Finally, lock the adjusting nut to complete the adjustment.

7. Tighten the compression bolt;

8. Tighten the shaft sleeve locking screw;

9. Finally, take out the positioning card.
