Installation, disassembly, startup and operation requirements of submersible slurry pumps

I. Installation of submersible slurry pumps
1. The submersible pump must be installed vertically on a fixed bracket above the liquid pool or water tank.
2. The suction port of the submersible pump should be greater than 200㎜ from the bottom of the pool.
3. The outlet pipeline of the submersible pump must be equipped with a separate bracket, and its weight is not allowed to fall directly on the pump body.
II. Disassembly sequence of submersible slurry pumps
1. Close the gate valve in the discharge pipeline of the submersible pump, and remove the connecting bolts or connecting pipes of the flange on the discharge pipe. Remove a section of the pipeline, the length of which should not hinder the lifting of the pump.
2. Loosen the connecting bolts between the motor frame and the motor of the submersible pump, and lift the motor.
3. Remove the bolts between the pump body and the bracket, and unscrew the impeller.
4. Remove the middle bracket and pull down the coupling.
5. Remove the upper and lower bearing covers of the bearing body to check the bearing condition.
III. Requirements for starting, stopping and running the submersible pump

1. Before installing the motor of the submersible pump, the power supply should be turned on to check the rotation direction, which must be consistent with the specified rotation direction of the pump.

2. Install the motor on the submersible pump, turn the coupling, check whether the pump shaft and the motor are concentric, whether the rotation is uneven, and then run it after it is normal.

3. Close the outlet pipeline valve and pressure gauge of the submersible pump.

4. Start the motor of the submersible pump and open the outlet valve to the required position according to the pressure gauge.

5. When the submersible pump stops normally, the outlet valve should be closed first, then the motor should be stopped, and the pressure gauge should be closed.

6. Sufficient grease should be ensured in the bearing chamber of the submersible pump, and the bearing temperature rise should not exceed 70℃.
