SG/SGH Series Gravel Pump

This series of pumps has a single-stage, single-suction, cantilever, and horizontal structure. The pump body, pump cover and joint plate are connected by clamp belts. The lubrication form adopts grease lubrication. It is mainly used for transporting highly abrasive materials whose particles are too large to be transported by ordinary slurry pumps.It is widely used in coal, electric power, transportation, river dredging, municipal engineering and other fields. This type of pump is suitable for transporting gravel, mud and slurry with larger solid particles. It is also used for river sand mining and mining vessels. The pump and driver can choose direct coupling transmission, V-belt transmission, hydraulic coupling transmission, or reducer transmission. The direction of the discharge port of the pump can be at any position of 360°. It has the advantages of easy installation, good cavitation, and anti-abrasion.

    Product Features

    The pump and driver can choose direct coupling transmission, V-belt transmission, hydraulic coupling transmission, or reducer transmission.     The inlets of all types of pumps are in a horizontal direction. Viewed from the transmission direction, the pump rotates clockwise, and can also rotate counterclockwise as needed.

    Sealed Form

    1.Packing seal: used for suction or reverse filling. The water pressure of the shaft seal should be 35Kpa higher than the pump outlet pressure, and the water volume of the shaft seal is (see table).

    2.Vice impeller seal: Generally used in reverse pouring state. The reverse pouring water head does not exceed 10% of the total water head of the pump, and the shaft power will increase by about 5%.
